LIBERATION presents the White Light Ball benefitting T.E.A.C.H. Ministries
To Educate About the Consequences of Homophobia
No LGBTQ weekend would be complete without a P-A-R-T-Y! Get ready to get dolled up, dine and dance at the White Light Ball! Enjoy complimentary happy hour cocktails (cash bar thereafter) followed by dinner and some serious dancing.
Before the dance party begins we will present the first annual Spirit of Liberation awards to recognize individuals who are making a difference in the LGBTQ world. Some names you'll know (hint: a major celebrity...it is L.A. after all) and others you'll be glad that you know of now. After the awards presentation, DJ Tony Okungbowa, from none other than The Ellen DeGeneres Show, will be spinning all night long.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit T.E.A.C.H. Ministires, an organization founded by Mary Lou Wallner who learned about the devastating consequences of homophobia after her daughter Anna took her own life as a result Mary Lou's refusal of accepting her daughter's homosexuality. Now, she and her husband Bob, dedicate their lives to sharing their story and bringing the gifts of understanding, acceptance and education to parents and others who are experiencing homophobia. Please help us to support this vitally important work.
